The community will explode with creative energy when students, artists, educators, performers, administrators, faculty, and agency professionals gather to celebrate the impact of art and arts education throughout Maryland.

Over 300 student artists from across the state will exhibit their work throughout the day. Festival attendees can rotate between the five, walk-able performance venues for a non-stop schedule of music, dance, theater, creative writing, visual arts, and media arts.

Schedule

11:00 a.m. OPENING CEREMONY
The Opening Ceremony takes place at the centerpiece of Mount Vernon, the Washington Monument.

12:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. ROTATING PERFORMANCES
Rotating student performances, masterclasses and portfolio reviews in all arts disciplines will be presented allowing performers and the public to create their own pathway through the day.

4:00 p.m.-4:45 p.m. CLOSING CEREMONY
The Opening Ceremony takes place at the centerpiece of Mount Vernon, the Washington Monument.
